Recently, we have received some amazing photos from Michael Tweddle, a Peruvian nature photographer, that now we can share with our Readers.
Boa c. ortonii is probably the rarest subspecies of Boa constrictor to be seen. They don't occur in captive collections and field studies barely have reliable informations on them. As Michael has confirmed, it is very difficult to find a specimen in their habitat, thus we consider these pictures a true treasure.
