Our Pearl Island boas (Boa c. sabogae) were born 3 weeks ago and stangely none of them have shed yet...
They all very alert and in good condition, though. Even though they have not shed yet, they have started to develope some colors, as well. During probing, we found out they are 4 males and 3 females. We will definitely hold back a couple to maintain that bloodline in the future.
As regards their mother, she recovered quickly after giving birth and now is feeding with a great appetite. She will probably gain her before-birth weight in 2-3 months. However, we are not going to breed her next year.
Few shots of Boa c. sabogae babies at 9 days old.
